ONSEN

The Onsen at Yokikan

Yokikan is famous for its open-air bath, which provides a sweeping view of the ocean and the city of Ito.
A cable railway takes you up to the mountaintop hot springs, ascending its 30-meter length at an angle of 45 degrees.
On a clear day, you can see as far as Hatsushima Island and the Boso Peninsula of Chiba Prefecture. At night, the panoramic sky is filled with stars. The temperature of the water is extremely high so it is cooled in a tank before it flows into the spring.
